Labor Day

We made a trip to Chadron to see the family over labor day. We had such a great time! Carson played w/ all the neighbor kids....they love to hunt for snakes! Eric and Pete took the kids to the CSC football game while Joette and I enjoyed some time off (Nana and Poppy watched the babies). We also got to watch some good games on TV and Eric took pity on my husband and took him out to teach him to golf. Pete has been wanting to learn for so long! Carson, Micaiah and Makinley did many things, most of them we don't know about b/c they are so sneaky:)! On Monday, when we were all gathered at Eric and Joette's for lunch.....one of us (Pete) was playing pillow fights w/ the kids and he threw a pillow at one of the kids (Carson) tripping him and hurting his leg. Carson couldn't walk, so we came home and spent 4 hours in the ER to discover he just had a really bad calf sprain. Carson couldn't walk for a couple days but is MUCH better now. Poor Pete on the other hand still feels terrible (he's the best daddy ever though)!
