summa time continues

Carson has been taking karate for a few months and is LOVING it...a jealous little sis is anxiously awaiting her 5th bday to join him! Until then, he teaches her some skills. Next Thursday he tests for his 1st belt!

After a weekend family reunion in Iowa with my mom's family, the kids and I headed back home with her for 10 fun, busy, entertaining days!

M & M turned 7 in July and we were able to spend a lot of time swimming, playing and being very naughty with them!

I cannot believe what good swimmers all the kiddos are!

I love this pick of M & M diving and Carson in the water below swimming!

These 2 are just naughty...and I am not joking!

We were also able to spend a bit of time in Rapid City visiting good friends.

Oh how we miss them!

Carson really misses his Rapid City buddies!

and I really miss my nieces!!

These kiddos just adore eachother...they fight like brother and sisters but oh do they love eachother!

Mak thought she looked like Auntie Chelle in her shades...i love that girl!

During the family reunion we swam...and swam...and swam....get the picture! Oh and we ate!

July 5th we celebrated a VERY special occasion....Pete turned 33! P.S. He will be 34 when he graduates!!

Who doesn't love the 4th of July?? Food, fun, fire!??! The PERFECT STORM!

Kendall did burn her hand on a sparkler but that girl is tough and of course it didn't stop her!

VBS was another highlight of the summer...Kendall LOVED the party on the last night: bounce houses, games and facepainting. I took her to get a heart on her face but later she snuck off and had them paint her to look like a "spy."

The VBS theme was "Son Surfer"....it was so much fun!

How great are pictures of kids eating watermelon??

I love these crazy kids and I do not want summer to end...ever... but thankfully they both really really want to go to school so the summer will end but the fun will continue!
