SHE'S OFF.....

Watch out world, Kendall has started preschool! She has been so excited, counting down the days, anxiously waiting for this day! She was checking her backpack yesterday saying, "Are you sure this is all I need mom? Where are my pencils?" She decided to pick out her own outfit and came out wearing this creation complete with arm warmers, leg warmers and of course her 'peace sign' shirt.

She did agree to ditch the arm and leg warmers due to the heat and some major bribing.

She was very proud to make her own sign...I helped a little but the name was 100% her!

She is so much fun!

We got to take treats for the 1st day so we chose apples made out of rice krispies!

She chose Jimmy Johns for a special lunch before school

Mommy is not sure what I will be doing for my 9 free hours a week that I haven't had in almost 8 years...but not to worry, I will figure it out!

We were able to meet up with Carson over his lunch hour which we do quite often!

Girl is off!

Miss Kendall was also able to go to recess with Carson and his class before her class began. Actually we do this every Friday because I do recess duty that day.

Pete got out of class early so he was able to meet up with us too!!

Carson and his buddies love to catch crickets and frogs in the creek during recess so he couldn't really be bothered to take pics.

Oh they are just too cute...Carson was proud of his sissy!

FINALLY she got to go into her classroom and of course she headed straight for the dress up clothes...she's kind of predictable that way! While some of the other kids were crying, sitting on the teachers laps, or clinging to their moms, this is the look Kendall had on her face.

We went out to celebrate a great 1st day of school for Miss K. Unlike her bro who details the entire day for us, she wouldn't tell us anything...except a few things that were 100% UNTRUE. She claimed to not remember anything. She did eventually give me one tiny bit of information: "My friend Kenadee wore the same skirt as me, only pink...and we were the only 2 who wore skirts today."
