The goodbyes and anticipation almost did me in but we did it, we said goodbye (for now) to Lincoln, LCS, amazing friends and a very important chapter of our lives. Oh the leaving was hard hard hard! We left so many wonderful people behind. The days and weeks leading up to our departure were painful...I didn't know if I could do it. I hated leaving the people that have brought my family so much love and happiness the past 3 yrs...I couldn't stand seeing my kids say goodbye to people who touched their lives in such big ways. YES IT WAS HARD! However, we knew we were going where God had called us and as a wonderful teacher told me, "you don't want to stay if God tells you to go!" Those words helped me through!

"No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever."
